Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ground Reality Times, presented as a news and media initiative of Responsys News And Media Private Limited, handles personal information submitted through this website.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on the service used, we may collect name, email address, mobile number, account credentials, verification status, billing/delivery address, order and payment-reference information, event participant details, advertising enquiry information, newsletter preferences, and recruitment information such as employment history, CV, portfolio links and application responses.
2. Why we use information
Information is used to create and secure accounts; verify email/mobile; process subscriptions, events and advertising workflows; verify payments; fulfil orders; communicate transactional updates; evaluate recruitment applications; respond to enquiries; maintain security and records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Consent and choice
Where processing is based on consent, the request should be clear and limited to the information needed for the stated purpose. Marketing/newsletter communications should provide an appropriate way to withdraw or change the relevant preference. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already lawfully carried out and may not prevent processing required to complete an existing paid order or meet legal obligations.
4. Payments
GRT should not store full banking credentials merely to generate a UPI payment request. Payment providers and banking/UPI networks may process transaction information under their own terms. GRT may retain order identifiers, transaction references, amount, status and verification events needed for accounting, support and fraud prevention.
5. Recruitment information
CVs, portfolios, work samples and candidate responses are used for recruitment assessment and related communication. Access should be limited to authorised recruitment/administrative personnel. Applicants should not submit unnecessary sensitive information in a CV or work sample.
6. Sharing and processors
Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, communications, payment processing, delivery, event operations or other necessary business functions, subject to appropriate purpose and security controls. We do not state that personal data is sold to advertisers.
7. Retention and security
Personal information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, legal/accounting obligations, dispute handling or legitimate security needs. GRT uses access controls, verification measures and application safeguards, but no internet system can be represented as absolutely secure.
8. Your requests
Subject to applicable law and verification, you may contact GRT regarding access/correction of account information, consent preferences, deletion/erasure requests where applicable, or a privacy grievance. Some records may need to be retained where law, accounting, fraud-prevention or an existing transaction requires it.
9. Cookies and technical data
The website may use essential session cookies and technical logs required for login, cart, security, verification and service operation. If analytics, advertising cookies or other non-essential tracking are introduced, the production policy and consent interface should be updated accordingly.
10. Children
Services should not knowingly collect a child's personal data in a manner inconsistent with applicable Indian data-protection requirements. Recruitment and paid account flows may impose eligibility requirements appropriate to the service.
11. Legal framework and updates
GRT intends to operate its personal-data practices in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection framework as its provisions become applicable. This policy may be updated when services, processors or legal requirements change.
12. Privacy contact
Privacy requests should be sent through the contact channel published on this website. Before production launch, GRT should publish the final authorised privacy/grievance contact details and update this page if required by the applicable commencement timeline.
Pre-launch legal notice: Final privacy wording, consent notices, retention periods and grievance details should be reviewed against the production data flows and applicable DPDP commencement schedule before launch.
