Correction Policy
Accuracy is central to credibility. Ground Reality Times intends to review credible correction requests promptly and distinguish genuine factual corrections from disagreements over analysis or opinion.
Material factual errors
Where a published fact is materially wrong, GRT should correct the content as soon as reasonably practicable after verification. Significant corrections may include a visible correction or update note.
Updates and clarifications
A developing story may be updated as new verified information becomes available. A clarification may be added when wording is factually defensible but could reasonably create a materially misleading impression without additional context.
Submitting a request
A correction request should identify the article or video, the specific statement believed to be incorrect, the proposed correction and supporting evidence. Contact details published by GRT may be used for such requests.
Editorial record
Corrections should preserve the integrity of the editorial record. Content should not normally be removed merely because a subject dislikes accurate reporting.
